MM1 & MM3 Micropositioners

MM1 and MM3 (Shown with pencil to illustrate size)
MM-1 and MM-3 Micropositioners

These unique micropositioners are precision instruments designed to eliminate many research and design problems at a justifiable cost, especially in the case of space limitations. The MM-3 is roughly 1 3/4 inches (4.4cm) in height and less than 1 inch (2.5cm) in width and depth. The MM-1 is even smaller at a height of only 1 inch (2.5cm).

The black anodized aluminum body is made with a one piece base and three piece construction. The spring-loaded stages move on stainless steel tracks for smooth motion and precision; maximum wobble and straightness on the MM-1 and MM-3 is less than 1um and 2um respectively. Both models are available in single, double, or triple stages for X, Y, and Z axes; adding stages is an easy job and requires no special tools or adaptors. The travel of the stages is 1/2in (3mm) for the MM-1 and 1/2in (13mm) for the MM-3. The base is easily adapted to most surfaces.
