Capstar 100 End-Tidal CO2 Analyser.

CapStar-100 End-Tidal CO2 Analyser. This fast-response infrared analyzer features excellent accuracy and stability, and can be used with small subjects.

The Capstar-100 Carbon Dioxide Analyser provides continuous, accurate measurement of expired CO2 over the range of 0-10%.  It's rapid response time, moderate sample flow requirements, and long term stability make it ideal for routine respiratory gas measurement with any size subject.

The heart of the instrument is a miniature infrared optical analyser that features exceptional stability, low maintenance, and a linear output voltage for external recording.  The heated temperature-controlled, measurement cell provides protection from water condensation and an included moisture trap can be used to capture condensed water in the sample tubing.

The remote sensor-pod, attached to the main unit by a 1.5m cable, contains the measurement cell, which can be removed for inspection or cleaning.

The built-in digital display shows CO2 concentration in % or mmHg, and allows breath-by-breath peak end-tidal reading or continuous rapid response to changing CO2.   Calibration is readily performed with a single calibrated gas and room air.

The Capstar-100 can be used in conjunction with any ventilator or simply to monitor unassisted subjects.
