Biopac Student Lab PRO Software - Powerful, flexible and very easy to use.
Click the logo to visit the Biopac website.The Biopac Student Lab PRO Software is an separate package which compliments the Biopac Student Lab Lessons system. The PRO software allows you to create your own lessons, use the system for advanced student projects and for your own research. The PRO software lets you perform customised recordings and experiments with the Student Lab hardware. The Pro software is different to the Lessons software.
Example of Biopac Student Lab PRO software.The BSL PRO software will allow you to record, analyse and display your data in precisely the way you wish.Set the sampling rate from 1Hz (i.e. 1 data point taken each second for each channel) right up to 100KHz (100,000 samples taken per second). Change the hardware configuration in seconds, using a pull-down menu select the transducer sensor or electrode leads from a list and immediately the amplifier is re-configured to the optimum settings for that device. You can add your own settings to the pull-down menu for easy access to your chosen amplifier set-up.
Adjusting the Gain, input coupling, and filter settings has never been so easy.Set-up calculation channels. Again, commonly used calculations such as Heart Rate (from ECG or Pulse), Tidal Volume (from Airflow) etc.. can be set up by selecting the relevant option from a pull-down menu. You can of course add your own custom calculations to this list. Transform your data using the PRO software's powerful analysis functions including Digital Filters, Smoothing, Peak Detection, FFT (Fast Fourier Transformation), Integration, Rate Calculations (including automated Rate in Hz or BPM, Cyclical Min, Max, Mean, Area, Peak to Peak.), Histogram, Differentiation, Template Analysis, Waveform Mathematics and much more. Display your data using Strip Chart, Scope or X, Y Plot modes, changing modes with a single mouse 'click'. Quickly an easily export your data to Microsoft Excel TM or any other Windows/Mac stats or presentation package as measurements, data points or even scalable graphics format. You can also export all or part of your data file as a tab-delimetered text file for ready importation into other packages. All packages (Basic, Advanced and Ultimate) come bundled with the Biopac Student Lab PRO software so you can be recording custom experiments 'out of the box'.
