CMA 400 Syringe Pump
  • Convenient user interface Four syringes carriage Ability to use non-standard syringe types
  • Pulse free flow Flow rates from 1 nL/min to 1mL /min Injection volumes as little as 1 nL
  • User programmable timed injections Capable of external control by RS 232 Reverse mode

The CMA 400 Syringe Pump is an easy-to-use, four-syringe pulse-free pump with a very broad flow rate range of 1nL/min to 1 mL/min. In addition to delivering accurate flow rates, the pump can deliver very precise microinjections, from 1 nL to 10 mL. These injections can also be repeated in intervals.

The direction of the flow in the pump can easily be reversed for experiments requiring fluid withdrawal. The pump is pre-calibrated for standard 60 mm graduation syringes from 10µL to 10mL. Other syringe sizes can be used by simple entry of the syringe's dimensions on the pump's display; no recalibration is necessary.

The syringes can be easily loaded and removed, all at once or individually. To speed up preparatory work and refilling, the syringe piston carriage can be fast-forwarded or reversed.
All settings as well as experimental progression (e.g. delivered volume, run time, number of injections) can be seen on the LCD. The pump can communicate with other instruments via a general-purpose digital Input/Output port and can be computer-controlled via an RS-232 interface.
